Our Living Seed Bank

is an effort to collect, catalog, and grow as many different fruit bearing trees as possible. To this date, we have planted over 85 species of trees that have edible fruits or seeds. Though our emphasis is on fruit from the region, we have sought out the widest range of fruits and nuts available for our tropical climate. Already naturalized fruits such as mangos and Mammee Apple side by side with fruits previously unknown or rare, like jackfruit and dates. Below is just a small sampling of what we've included in our food forest.

  • Ackee
  • Baobab
  • Carob
  • Cupuassu
  • Durian
  • Jackfruit
  • Loquat
  • Lychee
  • Macadamia
  • Mangosteen
  • Marula
  • Salak
