Join us for “Konbit Pou Ayiti,” a vibrant celebration of art, music, and Haitian culture, hosted by the talented Watson Mere at the Haitian-owned Lakou Cafe in Brooklyn. This special event promises an unforgettable evening with live DJ, performances, and the unique flavors of Lakou Cafe. Watson Mere will offer signed and numbered 11x14 prints of his artwork at accessible prices, with 100% of proceeds from print sales and donations directly supporting grown in Haiti’s reforestation efforts.

Planting Hope with Macaya Generation
In an inspiring day of hands-on learning and environmental action, we were honored to host the dynamic youth group Macaya Generation at Grown in Haiti. This event focused on the principles and practices of regenerative agroforestry, marking a day filled with the planting of dozens of trees and enriching educational activities. Macaya Generation, known for their commitment to community betterment and ecological sustainability in Haiti, brought an incredible energy and eagerness to learn and contribute.
The collaboration with Makaya Generation underscores the potential of Haiti’s youth in leading the charge towards environmental sustainability and community empowerment. Their participation is a testament to the hope and resilience that thrives within Haiti, inspiring all of us at Grown in Haiti.
Let's Grow! 2023 @ NYC Culture Club

Join us in celebrating our third annual “Let’s Grow!” exhibition, this time at the iconic NYC Culture Club in the World Trade Center’s Oculus. This event features an unparallel assempbly of 38 artists, including photography by Grown in Haiti’s founder, SIdney-Max Etienne, alonside renowned artists such as Saks Afridi and Steven Baboun. Our 2023 showcase dives deeper into the synergy of art and environmental activism, with artists generously donating up to 80% of proceeds to support our reforestation and community empowerment efforts in Haiti.
